“I’m an East Coast transplant finding my way around Los Angeles. While living in downtown L.A., I realized I wanted to document the city as I see it…. magical, vibrant, & full of life. I had always been interested in photography but I had never seriously pursued it. I used to spend my days as a television graphic designer and then a television promotions producer, I thought my life would certainly take a different path.
Now I get to wake up with my baby boy and take pictures of kitties, kiddies, and Los Angeles.
I am so grateful that my work can be seen in books, magazines, and private collections around the world. And I am truly honored my prints have also found homes in Lana Del Rey’s album Ultraviolence and as set decor on ABC’s Modern Family, HBO’s Enlightened and FX’s Anger Management.” Myan Soffia
