John Bingham was a photographer, graphic designer and teacher in Toronto, Canada. His numerous clients included the National Film Board of Canada, Mirvish Theatrical Productions, Pantages Hotel, Toronto and The Royal Bank of Canada. He was a sought after tutor and taught classes in photography and digital arts at the Toronto School of Art.
His abstract digital images are a natural outgrowth of his long fascination with the potential of digital imagery, the inherent power of the digital photograph and the seemingly endless possibilities of the manipulative power of digital software. The photographic imagery and digital abstractions reflect the cutting edge of modern technology based upon a solid understanding of the artistic legacy left us by the masters of photography and an appreciation of the ever changing world of abstract painting.
