Adrian Jendrasik came to Canada at the age of 20. After 10 years of doing many odd jobs he discovered photography and become devoted to it immediately. Self taught, he opened his first studio in 1978. Early years were devoted to fashion and advertising. He worked for Toronto fashion magazines (Flare, City and Country homes, Menswear, etc. He traveled to Milan and Zurich for fashion assignments and Northern Territory in Australia for art project of photographing landscapes. Last 10 years were spent developing portrait work and producing essays on many subjects (horse racing, boxers, rodeo etc. His work is all B&W, and has a unique signature look. His European background strongly influences his approach and presentation. Latest additions to his work are landscapes and still life study of exotic flowers.
