Amy Vangsgard lives in Los Angeles, California and graduated from Art Center College of Design in 1985 with honors. For over 20 years, she has been a successful award winning free-lance illustrator and fine artist. She also taught design and illustration at Otis College of Art and Design. Amy uses both digital photography and digital painting techniques to create exciting new imagery. Her inspiration comes from nature and the way light illuminates plants casting interestingly shaped shadows, radiating a warm glow, and forming unique patterns.
