Gabriela Villareal was born in Mexico in 1970. She broke into the European contemporary art market in 2005 with her famous modern abstract works. She studied art in A.C. (Design Art University) and was inspired by artists such as Damian de la Rosa and Fernando Cervantes.
Her works are collected worldwide and have been exhibited in the most prestigious galleries in Mexico, the United States and Europe. Gabriela’s works are currently published in Art in Motion – important fine art collections.
Using shapes, materials and textures unique textures, Gabriela is known for her ability to capture colour through innovative use of light and form. The common denominator is the search for harmony through multi-layered abstracts and extraordinary colour overlays. The lasting effect from her work is one of emotion, seduction and purity.
