Judy Stalus lives on fifty beautiful acres of garden and field and forest and most of her current work involves photographing these gardens and the flowers I grow in them. About five years ago she began scanning flowers directly into the computer. The images are exciting for their crystal clarity. In the lighter, more recent scans she is particularly interested in showing the fragile, translucent qualities in flowers and foliage, striving for an almost x-ray quality.
