G.M.E is a lover of print, pattern and colour, and the way each shapes one’s environment when applied to consumer products.
She’s a former Marketing Manager turned Artist and Surface Designer, passionate about the worlds of art, design and commerce, and the many ways they intersect.
Christina has an Honours Diploma in Art and Design, and a BCOMM in Business Management with a specialization in Retail.
G.M.E spent 10 years working as a Marketing Manager in Canada and England at Starbucks, Dyson, Target, Parcel Design, Winners and Puma, gaining global experience in the graphic design, product design, retail, consumer electronics, packaged goods and apparel industries.
Her work focuses on patterns, watercolour paintings and illustration with a minimalist and sometimes quirky approach.
G.M.E presently lives in Toronto, and is an avid lover of music and travel. Her adventures have taken her to 16 countries and four music festivals throughout Europe, tea houses, vintage markets and golden palaces in Japan, and to the sunny beaches and coral reefs of Australia.
