Melissa is an illustrator and maker from Portsmouth, UK.
She works predominantly in the medium of digital design, creating bold and bright contemporary illustrations. Her work is identifiable by its use of colour and pattern – expect abstract floral patterns, playful plant drawings and digital collages all underpinned by a botanical theme.
She has studied a wide range of art and design mediums including fashion design, in which she holds a BA (hons) degree. She also has experience of Film theory and cultural management, graduating with a Masters with Distinction from the University of Southampton.
She currently resides in Southampton, England. She works here from her home studio, having formed Melissa Donne Studio, her eponymous print design business in mid-2019.
